Will and Jaden Smith Team Up in Shyamalan Film

Teaming up for a family effort, Jaden Smith is set to star opposite his father, Will Smith, in an untitled M.Night Shyamalan sci-fi adventure.

The project, which was previously named "One Thousand AE," is set 1,000 years into the future while centering on a young boy who navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his estranged father after their ship crashes.

Shyamalan - who will produce the film alongside Will - told press, "The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project."

Young Jaden first teamed up with his proud papa back in 2006, where he co-starred in "The Pursuit of Happyness."

She recently celebrated a birthday, and her son, Justin Bieber, honored his mother with an on-stage celebration - though it didn't go as planned.

At the end of the "Baby" singer's concert at Berlin's O2 World arena, he called his mama, Pattie Mallette, to the stage to blow out some birthday candles.

But as the hitmaker's mom leaned over to blow out the birthday wishes, a few strands of hair caught afire.

After quickly putting out the flames, Bieber said, "Mama, I'll always be your baby." Later Mallette tweeted, "Thank u @justinbieber for the cake (& embarrassing me on stage lol)."

Kate is currently preparing for the upcoming film "Serpent Girl," co-starring Malin Akerman, Armie Hammer, and Helen Hunt .

The movie centers on "Bailey Quinn, a 22-year-old college dropout, who wakes up in the Columbia River Basin high on peyote and sans pants. The daughter to professional boxer, Muhammad Ali, has welcomed her second child with husband Curtis Conway.

"After a long day of labor, I had a healthy baby girl, Sydney J. Conway," said the former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant.

"We are both very tired, but we fell in love the moment we laid eyes on each other. I feel so blessed and overwhelmed with love and excitement. Can't wait to get to know her!"

After amassing nearly 40 music videos in her career thus far, Britney Spears opened up to MTV about the ups and downs of shooting her latest effort titled "Till the World Ends."

The pop icon is no doubt the queen of uber-popular music videos, but as fun as shooting one can be, it's also a lot of work. Brit told, "The set was a little much. It was grimy and gross and it felt like there was poop everywhere when there wasn't," the 29-year-old recalled. "It was sweat and it was disgusting sometimes ... [I] tough it out."

Another sticking point during the shoot was the discomfort in which Spears felt while dancing around in heels. "It hurts ... but it looks good," she said, adding that sometimes she changes into Uggs, "It wasn't a full-length shot, so a girl's about comfort when it's not showing."

At the end of the day, the video was a more positive experience than not. "It was a lot of fun. I had never worked with Ray Kay before. I was really happy with the work we did."

On the coattails of her announcement to leave CBS, Katie Couric was spotted heading into the network's studios in New York City on Monday (April 4).

The evening news anchor hopped out of a chauffeured vehicle sporting a fresh face with no makeup as she was escorted inside to tend to work duties.

Now that she's made the decision to not renew her contract with "CBS Evening News" once it expires in June, Couric admitted that she has been discussing a syndicated talk show with former boss Jeff Zucker.

"We talk a lot and, yes, we've been discussing the possibilities," Katie told press this morning.

Actors Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson have just officially been announced by Lionsgate to play Gale Hawthorne and Peeta Mellark, respectively, in "Hunger Games."

The two hot young Hollywood stars will work alongside Jennifer Lawrence, who recently won the role of the film's heroine Katniss Everdeen.

The movie is based on the Suzanne Collins' best-selling trilogy set in a future in which children fight to the death in government-sponsored competitions.

The sci-fi thriller will be directed by Gary Ross and is set to hit theaters nationwide March 23 of next year (2012).

Branching out from his everyday activity, Arnold Scwarzenegger has debuted a trailer for his latest project called "The Governator."

On Monday (April 4), the "Twins" actor announced his plans for his cartoon crime fighter character which will include games, comic books and feature a film down the line.

Other celebrities are set to contribute their voices to the cartoon, which is being developed with the help of American comic book writer, Stan Lee.

"First will come comic books, then a [cartoon] TV series and after that we will develop the games and then a movie," Arnold told press.
