Anne Hathaway’s Welcome Break from "Dark Knight" Duties

Armed with a bundle of beautiful flowers, Anne Hathaway was spotted heading over to a friend's house in London, UK earlier today (May 19).

The 28-year-old, who is in the area to film her Catwoman role in "The Dark Knight Rises," sported a trendy look by pairing a white button-down with a black blazer and leather pants.

In related news, Anne and co-star Jim Sturgess can be seen getting steamy in the new trailer (see video above) released for their upcoming romance movie "One Day."

The film, due out in August, follows the life, love, and friendship between Hathaway's and Sturgess' characters, unveiling their post-college graduation relationship.

The 35-year-old shined in the lights of the glitzy affair, wearing a glamorous gold gown, perfectly accented by a stunning diamond necklace.

Milla, one of the the black-tie affair chairs, was joined in her charitable efforts by the likes of Janet Jackson, Donatella Versace and Beyonce Knowles among others.

Since 1993, Cinema Against AIDS events around the world have raised nearly $60 million for lifesaving AIDS research.

The 32-year-old model met up with friend and famed fashion icon Roberto Cavalli, who dressed her in a jaw-dropping gold and brown dress for the glamorous night.

This is not the first time the two hungout during the annual film-honoring event, as Canalis has been spotted sunbathing on Cavalli's luxury yacht many times over the past week.

Lady Gaga: "Oprah’s Much More Important Than I Am"

Recently proclaimed as the most powerful celebrity by Forbes magazine, Lady Gaga has finally opened up about the triumphant title bestowed upon to her by one of the more highly regarded publications around.

Talking with Extra, the "Born This Way" singer was a bit passive about claiming the top spot from longtime frontrunner Oprah Winfrey, saying, "That's very nice, only Oprah is infinitely more important and influential than me. I'm just grateful to have even ever met her, really. What matters most to me is how the fans feel about the work that I'm doing and the music. But it's always really, really nice to get compliments like that. I really appreciate it."

Set to release her new album this coming Tuesday (May 23), Gaga said of her musical offering, "'Born This Way' is about living halfway between reality and fantasy. I wrote the whole record myself. It's my metaphor about the real you and the magic that's inside of you. The fans are what keep that alive in me. 'Born this Way' is now our attempt as a community to tell the world 'Magic is not artificial, it's real. Theatre is not artifice; theatre is not a joke'."

In part of her many promotions associated with album's release, the 25-year-old is also set to appear on this weekend's season finale of "Saturday Night Live" alongside host Justin Timberlake.

Jennifer Lawrence Debuts Brunette ‘Do at the "Late Show"

Showing off her newly darkened brunette coif, Jennifer Lawrence dashed through traffic as she made her way to the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City on Thursday evening (May 19).

The 20-year-old "Winter's Bone" actress was on hand to visit the "Late Show with David Letterman" while fresh off of the release of her debut photo in character as Katniss Everdeen for "The Hunger Games".

As for her upcoming sci-fi/thriller, Miss Lawrence just spoke with EW about her favorite scene in the film, telling, "The first time that Katniss has to go into the cylinder and she goes up into the arena and looks around and sees it for the first time."

The burgeoning star added, "Knowing that when that trumpet blows she could die. The thing that's great about her is she's not a murderer. She's a hunter, but she's not a killer. I told Gary, 'I totally understand if you don't hire me, but please remember that after Katniss shoots a bow and kills someone her face cannot be badass. It has to be broken.' She has to be heartbroken because she just took another person's life. It's so tempting, especially with a cool, big budget franchise movie, but we have to remember that she's a 16-year-old girl who's being forced to do this. These kids are only killing each other because if they don't, they'll die. It's needless, pointless, unjustified violence. So there's nothing cool about her. It's not like she looks around the arena and goes 'Yeah, I got this, I'm going to do this.' I think she looks around terrified and thinks, 'Well there are all the million different ways that I can die.'"

Fresh off of his big promotional appearance at Cannes, Mel Gibson made his way to spend time with royalty in Monaco on Thursday (May 19).

The recently scandal-plagued actor was photographed as he hopped aboard a port-set vessel to dine on a surely exquisite lunch with the Prince Albert II.

Having spent time in Cannes for the premiere of his upcoming film "The Beaver," Mel recently chatted about returning to his career after a lengthy break.

He told, "I got to a place where I thought, you know, I don't even know if I want to do this, and walked away for awhile. I think I just walked away for about eight years. Cause you can keep grinding on the same bicycle and the chain starts to wear out."

Adding that the break was helpful in terms of rejuvenation, Gibson said, "So when you come back to it, it's kind of, it's interesting again. Not only because you've been absent from it for awhile, but because a lot of the factors around, including yourself have gone through some change."

With their hoped-for life-lasting love not going according to plan, Elisabeth Moss and Fred Armisen's divorce has been made official.

The "Mad Men" actress and her now ex-hubby's separation has just recently been approved by the powers that be, bringing the short-lived 8 month marriage to a conclusion.

With "irreconcilible differences" being cited in the divorce papers, Miss Moss initiated the split back in September 2010.

Having said that the she and Fred actually parted ways in June 2010, the separation process took 11 months - which is three longer than the two former lovebirds were married.
