Adam Lambert Visits with "Extra," "Talk Today"

Making for quite the busy day of promotions, Adam Lambert was spotted out for the filming of an interview for "Extra" at The Grove in Los Angeles on Wednesday (February 9).

With his hair slicked back while clad in a dark-toned vest/t-shirt/trouser combo, the "Pick U Up" singer made the TV appearance after visiting CBS's "Talk Today" earlier in the morning.

Tweeting about the CBS stop, Lambert wrote, "# I am going to be on CBS's The Talk today! Tune in!"

During the visit, co-host Holly Robinson Peete asked Adam whether he could do a fireman's carry - of fellow co-host Sara Gilbert, in particular.

The 29-year-old confidently replied, "I probably could," while proceeding to toss Miss Gilbert over his shoulder and giving her a twirl before sitting back down.

On another note, Adam also just announced that a CD/DVD of his Glam Nation Tour will be released next month on March 22nd.

The footage was taken during a gig at Clowes Hall in Indianapolis on August 13, 2010, with twelve songs being included along with a special bonus track.

Lindsay Lohan Enters ‘Not Guilty’ Plea

Having been formally charged with grand theft, Lindsay Lohan made her way to court for an initial appearance on Wednesday afternoon (February 9).

The "Mean Girls" actress was arraigned at Airport Courthouse in Los Angeles, as she was clad in a white dress while joined by legal staffers and security personnel while readying to face Judge Keith Schwartz.

As was expected, Lohan entered a 'not guilty' plea with a bond being set at $40,000 with the order that she be remanded to sheriff's custody.

Continuing to lecture Lindsay about staying out of trouble and the heftiness of a felony charge, Judge Schwartz set the next court date for February 23rd while saying, "You're no different than anyone else ... please don't push your luck."

The actress' lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, then tried to have bond paid immediately - but she was denied that option while being told that procedure must be the same in this case as all others.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the case stems from the fact that LiLo is accused of lifting a $2500 necklace from Kamofie & Company, though she vehemently insists that it was a loan.

Geoff Kaman, the jewelry store owner, told press that he and his wife are "extremely sad on how all of this has turned out."

Taking advantage of some free time, January Jones was spotted making her way around Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (February 9).

The "Mad Men" star looked super cute in flared jeans paired with a button-up top as she stopped for a business lunch at Little Dom's Deli before heading off for some Chinese acupuncture.

In related news, MTV recently chatted with January about her "X-Men: First Class" character Emma Frost's costumes and the little number she's wearing in the cast's recently leaked photo.

Of the tiny two-piece she sports in the photo, Jones tells, "I'm in that a lot. I have a lot of very interesting costumes in that movie. So I'm in that one a lot."

With Lady Gaga's much-anticipated single debuting this Friday, Ellen DeGeneres - who is sick of waiting - created her own version today (February 9).

The talk show host utilized the already released lyrics from Gaga's "Born This Way" as the basis for her own version with the help of Justin Bieber and James Blunt.

During the course of the show, Bieber also gave Ellen the welcome surprise in a very special birthday gift.

To Miss DeGeneres and the audiences delight, the teen sensation pulled the present out of his pocket, saying to Ellen, "It is a lock of my hair."

Adding to the already-impressive movie roster, it has been confirmed that Johnny Depp will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming "Jack and Jill."

At Tuesday night's New York City premiere of "Just Go With It," director Dennis Dugan told MTV News, "There's a secret guest star, but I can't say who it is."

Unable to hold it in, Dugan excitedly admitted a short while later that it's "Johnny Depp".

Depp will join Adam Sandler, Katie Holmes, David Spade and Al Pacino in "Jack and Jill" - which is due out this year on November 11.

Catching the eye of the famed designer, Elle Fanning was selected to partake in a new video short for Rodarte titled "The Curve of Forgotten Things".

The offering is a collaboration between Kate and Laura Mulleavy and director-photographer Todd Cole, with a musical score provided by Deerhunter.

During the video, Miss Fanning is shown in the scenic locale of the historic Baldwin House in California, during which time she's seen curiously wandering from room to room.

Of the concept, Cole explained to WWD, "It's inspired by Northern California, and the Seventies. It's about this girl who exists in this strange place outside of time. She's digging up things from the land and the past, and she offers them to the sun."

Making for quite the sudden and saddening news, reports tell that Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from Pete Wentz.

Having been married back in May of 2008, the "Pieces of Me" singer submitted legal papers in Los Angeles Superior Court to end her marriage, according to TMZ.

Miss Simpson, whose big sister Jessica has also been divorced, cited the catchall "irreconcilable differences" as the reasoning behind the breakup.

With no prenup having been signed, Ashlee is said to be seeking "joint legal custody and primary physical custody" of her and Pete's 2-year-old Bronx while hiring Laura Wasser as her lawyer.

The "Winter's Bone" star recently opened up to Rolling Stone on how she spent her childhood riding horses, fishing, playing hockey, softball and basketball on the all-boys team.

He's no stranger to criticism and fame whoredom, and Spencer Pratt says Kim Kardashian is running the risk of overexposure with all of her various career pursuits.

The former "Hills" cast member told FOX411 that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" babe may want to take a hiatus from the public eye.

"Kim has totally lost the plot. She should have kept up her good girl act and image. Now we are seeing her whine about all those naked magazine covers and then doing a raunchy Skechers ad. That makes her a hypocrite."

"She had better be careful. The people who buy her products aren't guys, they are girls, and girls don't want to see Kim naked during the Super Bowl."
