Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s Varying Divorce Details

They announced their separation earlier this week, and details concerning the divorce between Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz continue to emerge.

According to one report, Mrs Simpson-Wentz has been unhappy in the marriage for quite some time while Wentz was satisfied with the marital situation and didn't see this coming.

Another report from People claims that the once happy couple's story is a classic case of marrying young, having a kid young and growing apart over the years.

Both Ashlee and Pete were spotted out separately just days before Simpson filed for divorce on Wednesday.

The soon-to-be ex-couple released a statement saying, "We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx [2 years old], whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority."

Looking to be ready for the Valentine's Day holiday, the E! reality star showed off a bright red bra underneath her sheer black top en route to the security checkpoint ahead of the cross-country trek to New York City.

As for the tip, Mrs Lamar Odom is making her way out east just in time to catch her basketball star hubby and his Lakers take on the Knicks tonight at Madison Square Garden.

Odom and his teammates beat the Boston Celtics the previous night, although Lamar didn't escape unscathed, as Khloe tweeted, "My poor baby needed 8 stitches.... He is a tough guy. The entire team played so well!"

Decked out in her always-provocative attire, the "Gossip Girl" rocker donned a skimpy Rob Zombie-inspired ensemble complete with thigh-high stockings.

As for her musical tastes, Miss Momsen recently revealed her desire to hit the studio with Beatles legend Paul Cartney and Oasis musician Noel Gallagher.

She told, "My all-time favorite band is The Beatles for their genius. I'd love to write with Paul McCartney, that would be awesome... John Lennon's not a possibility anymore but Paul McCartney would be amazing to collaborate with.

Arriving like the divas they are, Madonna and Lourdes Leon were spotted making their way through Heathrow Airport in London on Friday (February 11).

The "Material Girl" singer and her 14-year-old daughter tried to fly under the radar, but their massive amount of luggage ended up catching the eyes of prowling airport paparazzo.

The flight to the UK comes just as Madge's fellow musician Lady Gaga released her new single "Born This Way" - with the track already being compared to some of Madonna's work.

A number of bloggers wrote that the song strikes an eerily similar resemblance to Madonna's 1989 hit "Express Yourself."

Gaga has repeatedly channeled Madonna's provocative looks (which isn't a bad thing, she's the Queen of Pop after all) – including her trademark cone bras and underwear on the outside.

She endured something unimaginable back in 2008, and Jennifer Hudson recently opened up to Oprah Winfrey about her mother, brother and nephew's brutal murders.

During Thursday's "Oprah Winfrey Show, " the "Love is Your Color" singer tearfully told that she could hear the voices of her brother and mother telling her to "knock it off" stop crying and keep going.

"It's such a shocking thing," she said. "It's a lot to take in. It's like, 'OK, is this real? Did this really happen?' It's hard to put it in sync with reality."

Miss Hudson added, "I try to do everything to say, 'OK, will my mother like this? Will she be pleased? Will she be proud of that? How do I know she's happy and she's smiling down at me from heaven?'" Hudson said. "And that's what I try to go by and walk by."

Closing out the work week with her eighth preview, Britney Spears has released another clip from her upcoming "Hold It Against Me" music video.

In the seven second spot, the "Gimme More" crooner can be seen fighting with herself - as she knocks down a mirror image of herself with a solid punch to the face.

Due out on MTV on February 17th, choreographer Brian Friedman recently talked about director Jonas Åkerlund, saying, "Anything that he does is magical. His eye for art is insane, so I was excited to work with someone who loves art so much, and it's not just a job, it's not technical — it really is a string aesthetic to what he does."

"I really feel like bringing two artists together in a way like that — where the director really loves the dance and understands the art of the dance and doesn't try to cover it up and water it down — is the best way to go," Jonas added. "He was genius for me with dance."

Aside from her clothing and accessory lines, the "Come On Over" singer recently released a range of special occasion and prom dresses for David's Bridal.

The frocks will range in price from $139-$229 and feature a collection of silhouettes including short, slim, A-line and ballgown dresses.

In a statement, Ms Simpson said, "Inspired by the fabulous designer gowns I've worn to red carpet events, my affordable collection is designed to fit and flatter a variety of body types and help girls achieve their own red carpet style for Prom."

Coming up this Sunday (February 13), Lady Gaga is all set up to take over the airwaves with a great deal of TV time being devoted to the 24-year-old star.

The "Bad Romance" singer will be among those attending the 53rd annual Grammy Awards - during which she will perform her newly released single "Born This Way."

Prior to the live performance, a "60 Minutes" interview with Anderson Cooper will air at 7PM on CBS in which Gaga reveals some interesting details about herself with footage from tour stops throughout Europe.

In a preview of the extensive interview, Gaga dishes that people want to see her decay. "They want to see me fail. They want to see me fall on stage. They want to see me vomiting out of a night club. Isn't that the age we live in? That we want to see people who have it all lose it all? It's dramatic."

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, everyone's wondering what Justin Bieber is planning to do.

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Friday (February 11), the "Baby" singer revealed his plans for the romantic holiday.

The 16-year-old told, "I am going to probably going to a random movie theater that's playing "Never Say Never" and sit in the back and I'm going to sit with my fans and watch the movie."

Today, "Never Say Never" hits theaters and on Sunday (February 13) the Biebs will be performing with Usher and Jaden Smith on stage at the annual Grammy Awards.

Showing off an interesting new look, Justin Bieber gave fans a glimpse of what he might look like when he grows older by debuting a shiny, bald head.

Visiting "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" as he promotes his just-released movie "Never Say Never," the young star sat in a chair for a prank piece with the late night host.

During the skit, Kimmel took the stage and pulled out an electric razor while continuing to dig in to Bieber's precious locks.

Looking a bit freaked out before proudly showing off the sans-hair look, Justin said, "Yeah it's great, [the girls] will just focus on my beautiful silky smooth lyrics."

Fortunately enough, the duo were merely pulling a fast one - as the "Baby" hitmaker told that he merely slipped on a bald cap.

She never does anything halfway, and Rihanna's new fragrance ad gives a great depiction of the two sides of her personality.

The clip for Reb'l Fleur shows the "Take a Bow" songstress in a mirrored maze in an enchanted garden sporting a peach cocktail dress.

From there, Rihanna transforms into black attire to signify that she's a "Good Girl Gone Bad" who also happens to smell fantastic.

One fragrance critic said of Reb'l Fleur, "The fragrance is an intense and daring fruity chypre, composed of sophisticated floral notes: tuberose, violet and hibiscus, with a splash of coconut water,over the light and smooth base. The combination of the final notes evokes the impression of warm skin."

Paying a visit to the "Ellen DeGeneres Show," Adam Lambert chatted it up with the comedic talk show host earlier this week (February 9).

The "American Idol" runner-up explained to Ellen how he found out that he was nominated for a Grammy this year.

He told that he was in Paris, France when he got a call from his manager at about 7 am to give him the news. "I think I made a noise higher than in any song I have on my album," Adam laughed.

Lambert then proceeded to play an acoustic version of his hit song "Whataya Want From Me" - for which he was nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at this Sunday's Grammy Awards.

Making for quite the surprising week-ending announcement, Ellen DeGeneres revealed that she recently discovered she's Kate Middleton's cousin.

On Thursday's show, the talk show host revealed that she received a letter from the New England Genealogical society explaining that she and the princess-to-be are 15th cousins through a common ancestor by the name of Sir Thomas Fairfax.

"I'm definitely invited to the wedding now!" exclaimed DeGeneres. "Between the Packers winning the Super Bowl and this, I'm having a good week."

Continuing on with the jokes, Ellen added, "Let me know if you need me to plan the bachelorette party. Because I found some straws that are shaped like. . . well never mind."

She's always been easy on the eyes, and Michelle Trachtenberg looks fabulous on the cover of Maxim magazine's March 2011 issue.

The "17 Again" babe definitely isn't shy as she works her magic for the camera in some skimpy outifts.

In the accompanying interview, Michelle shared that she was pumped about scoring the cover of Maxim and hoped some of her high school enemies would see it.

"It's exciting. I know that everyone at my high school who used to torture me and bully me is going to get a copy of it, so I'm thrilled. That's going to be really exciting."

She continued, "I was rather flat-chested in high school, so I was picked on all the time. I think I've made up for it. Maybe a bit late, but they're here now."
