Hailee Steinfeld: The Next Sleeping Beauty

Hailee Steinfeld is about to become a princess - as she's been cast in the revisionary re-make of Disney's "Sleeping Beauty."

The 14-year-old brunette will reportedly star in the 2011 movie adaption of what's often called the ultimate classic fairytale.

Miss Steinfeld will tell the story from her character's point of view - offering a sweetened "Inception" type plot which requires her to find her way out of the dream world that she has been cast into.

This makes for the second big role in which the Oscar-nominated actress has nabbed since her breakout turn as fast talking, revenge-seeking Mattie Ross in the Coen Brothers' hit western "True Grit".

Elton John Readies for SNL Double Duty

Getting viewers ready for what's sure to be quite the entertaining evening, Sir Elton John appears in a brand new promo video for "Saturday Night Live".

In what's his first appearance on the beloved sketch show since 1982, the "Tiny Dancer" piano playing superstar will be gracing the stage on the long-running NBC comedy on April 2nd.

Taking the night on his shoulders, Elton will be pulling double duty on the upcoming SNL - as he's tending to both host and musical guest efforts.

As for the just-released promo, John can be seen getting chased around the studios by show regular Jason Sudeikis as "Benny Hill" plays in the background.

Snooki Gets Booed at WrestleMania Press Conference

Getting a not-so-welcome reception, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi hit the stage of the WrestleMania XXVII press conference in New York City earlier today (March 30).

The pint-size reality star was mostly booed when she arrived at the event wearing a "Brunette Mafia" top, shiny leopard print mini skirt, and knee-high black leather boots.

Snooki revealed this about her recent "Monday Night Raw" rumble in the ring: "I had no idea what I was getting myself into," but vowed to to show up prepared for her three-on-three mixed gender tag team match this Sunday, "I am so ready for WrestleMania."

Miss Polizzi was joined by the likes of WWE stars John Cena, Mike Mizanin and Dwayne Johnson , who were all on hand to promote the company's version of the Super Bowl.

Judge Judy Falls Ill, Rushed to Hospital

She's one tough cookie in the courtroom, but apparently Judge Judy Sheindlin couldn't overcome her health woes as she was rushed to the hospital earlier today (March 30).

According to reports, the "Judge Judy" arbitrator was in her studio when she fell ill and was in need of medical attention.

On-hand sources said the TV judge had been complaining of "intestinal discomfort."

On a good note, Judy just made a phone call to TMZ's Henry Levin telling him that she is going to be fine - adding that she's "just exhausted, and my body was telling me it needed a day to chill

Stepping out for one of the biggest night's surrounding their film's release, the ladies of "Sucker Punch" were all on-hand at the UK film premiere in London, England on Wednesday (March 30).

Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Carla Gugino, Emily Browning all posed for pictures on the red carpet before heading inside Vue Cinema at Leicester Square for the big event.

As for the plotline, the film revolves around institutionalized Baby Doll (Emily Browning) who retreats into her imagination to survive, fighting video game-style battles in places ranging from temples to Notre Dame cathedral.

While director Zack Snyder's 2006 film "300" relied on male six-packs for visual interest, Sucker Punch majors on cleavage with Baby Doll's fellow asylum inmates Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish), Rocket (Jena Malone), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens) and Amber (Jamie Chung) all duly obliging their director's eye for a curve.

Taking to her blog on Wednesday (March 30), the "30 Rock" babe explained, "I have been very fortunate in life both professionally and personally. I have had untold number of opportunities to work with inspiring people, on great projects as an actress, and I have had a fantastic long term relationship of nearly 20 years with my now husband, Max [Handelman]."

"The one true hurdle I've faced in life is that I have a broken belly," she continued. "After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: we make a 'baby cake' and bake it in another woman's 'oven.'"

"From that came two miracles. The first was meeting our carrier and her husband who were truly humbling in their decency and generosity. And the second miracle was the birth of our baby boy, Felix Handelman. Felix means 'happy and 'lucky' in Latin. And true to his name, Felix is a very happy baby and a blessing on our life," Elizabeth said.

And lastly, the blonde funnywoman added, "Thanks to all our friends, family, and fans for your support. If you need me, I'll be changing dirty diapers and trying to get some sleep."

He's known for his dashing good looks and a killer Hollywood career, but George Clooney will be playing a brand new role in Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi's prostitution trial- witness.

The "Ocean's Eleven" stud and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis were both named as party guests by a Moroccan teenager who says she was paid to have sex with Berlusconi.

George told press, It seems odd since I've only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur."

Capping off a busy day in which her new album Femme Fatale finally saw release, Britney Spears was spotted shooting a segment for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (March 29).

The "Hold It Against Me" singer donned goggles to protect her eyes as she joined up with guest Johnny Knoxville and a few members from "Jackass" for the pre-taped comedy sketch.

Aside from the Kimmel efforts, Britney is also being featured in a new MTV documentary offering titled "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale".

With the trailer having just been released, the upcoming special will "take fans inside Britney's life to see what it's like to release a highly anticipated album."

Asked about her talks with Simon Cowell over a potential "X Factor" judge gig, Nicki Minaj Nicki Minaj drummed up her protectively flirty alter ego, Martha, when it came to the response.

The Lil Wayne protégé, said this while chatting (in a British accent) to MTV, "I can't talk about that, but I love Simon very dearly. He's such an amazing man. I had the pleasure of meeting him and my life will never be the same, darling. I told him that. I was absolutely in love with him prior to meeting him. And now that I've met him, it's like I dream about him every night."

Simon, for his part, seemed equally smitten with the hip-hop star, raving about the Young Money MC in an interview with XXL - saying they've spoken about various business opportunities.

Cowell divulged this about the secretive talk, "We spoke to Nicki actually about a lot of projects. It wasn't specifically about this, but we were just very interested to meet her. I'm a big fan of hers. So I don't know if it's gonna be this show or something in the future, but it was definitely somebody I wanted to meet."
